Dr. Becky Buller, 2023 GeoFest Keynote Speaker
Rebecca Buller is a cultural and historical geographer, with specialties in the Great Plains and American West, human trafficking in Nebraska, geographic education, and women and genders’ studies. She is also a Fellow of the Center for Great Plains Studies. There, she is an instructor and the Book Review Editor for both the Great Plains Quarterly and Great Plains Research.
Buller advises BA/BS Geography, MA Geography as committee chair and committee member, and Ph.D. Geography as a committee member. She occasionally has openings for new graduate advisees, with possible GTA funding. If you are a potential graduate student with similar interests, please contact her.
As an elementary school National Geographic (NG) Geography Bee champ and Nebraska State NG Geography Bee competitor as well as a college geography bowl team victor, she welcomes trivia challenges.
